I love the simplicity that is the internet. It’s one place where I can find inspiration for all of the things I love. This particular image has been a favorite of mine for a long time. It is from a picture I took of my son’s birthday party at our home in New York City. I love the way the light hits the party’s colorful tablecloths and colorful decorations.

I have a confession to make here, I know I have been a bit of a slob lately. I’ve been cleaning up my house by myself, using my cleaning products, taking a bath, and wearing only underwear. While that doesn’t mean I’m a slob, I am a pretty messy person.

As a writer, I do not like to waste time cleaning up after myself. I dislike the feeling of “I need to do something else” but I also know that, even if I am not working, my brain is still working. So I like to do it all at once. Thats the point of this blog post, to point out my favorite way to clean up my house.

I know I’m a slob, but my goal is to be a slob in the most literal sense of the word. I am always trying to get stuff in my life done before I get too deep into the work of writing. So yeah, I’m a slob that likes to clean up at the same time.
