The main characters are a pair of orphaned siblings who escaped from an abusive home. They befriend another girl and her little brother by the name of Will. Will’s dad is an abusive asshole who wants to kill them, but his wife is a kind woman who wants them to be happy. The way the parents interact is what makes this movie special. They are in a game of what not to do as a family. The main characters have to deal with some pretty intense issues.

The biggest issue I found in the film is that I could never tell what was going on. I was always worried that the movie would drag on and on and on so I would start to get bored. For me that’s what made it so great. It was so damn good that I still look forward to seeing it a month after its release.
